Pressure sensor selection usually begins with range and overload capacity. Hydraulic systems often need higher pressure resistance and fast response, while process equipment may care more about stability, media compatibility and long-term drift. For signal output, 4-20mA is common for longer industrial wiring, 0-10V is simple for short cabinet wiring, and RS485 is useful when multiple measuring points need digital communication. Mechanical interface is just as important as electronics. Confirm thread type, sealing method, pressure port material and medium temperature. For corrosive media or vibration-heavy equipment, choose suitable stainless steel construction, cable protection and connector style.
